Overview
Illustration covers the drawings that sit beside Flowit Supply's templates and mockups. It explains simple ideas that a photograph would make harder to read. Keep each drawing flat, clear and in line with the brand's plain voice.
Depth
Use gradients and layering sparingly to give a flat drawing some depth. A gradient should run between two palette colors, or from the subject into the background. Never use a color outside the palette.
Texture
Add a fine grain to large flat areas to bring some warmth. Keep the grain subtle, apply it to whole shapes or the whole drawing, and never let it soften an edge. Edges should stay crisp.
